He is also the cellist of the ‘’Marcello Duo’’ (cello – marimba, duomarcello.com) which is collaborating with Simon Vanneste, a young Belgium composer, in order to expand the repertoire for this ensemble.

Thibault is collaborating with Eliott Delafosse, a young French composer with whom he played the world-premiere of “13/22”, an experimental work for cello solo in response to the Paris and Brussels terrorist attacks of 2015 and 2016 and a work for cello and live electronics ‘’Atom’’ which has been premiered in May 2018 in London. Thibault has also composed two pieces inspired by Slovenia: ‘’A tribute to Matju Cop’’ for cello and soundtrack and ‘’Postojna’’ and “Spectrum 21” for cello and live electronics.

Teaching and sharing his passion with the young generation is another side of Thibault’s work. He has been appointed as a cello teacher and music tutor for “Lewisham Music Hub” in March 2018 and is, since 2017, co-leading a summer course (Les Musicales du Haut-Doubs) for musicians in France.  While studying at Trinity Laban, he develops a collaboration between the Junior and Senior Trinity departments in order to strengthen the relationships between these two.
